PRESIDENT/FOUNDER
Wendy Weatherford-Marks
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Wendy Weatherford-Marks is the founder and President of Kosmic Marketing, Inc.

Weatherford-Marks established Kosmic Marketing in 2000 backed with more than a decade of marketing and promotions experience inside some of the world’s most high-profile media companies. Launched as an entertainment marketing and promotions company that takes a creative, enthusiastic, and organized approach to develop and execute results-driven projects, Kosmic Marketing immediately landed its first clients – IMAX and USA Network.

Weatherford-Marks’ passion, leadership, and continually-expanding media background sharpens Kosmic Marketing’s competitive edge. Currently Vice President of Consumer Marketing & Promotion for VH1, VH1 Classic and VH1 Soul, she is a key member of the network’s executive brand strategy team, developing multi-platform consumer campaigns that creatively build brand equity for the Viacom-owned music network.

A nine-year career at MTV: Music Television in New York City followed by a three year stint with DreamWorks Pictures SKG in Los Angeles laid solid foundations early in Weatherford-Marks’ career. She then expanded into the world of digital entertainment as the Director of Marketing with moxiegirl.com, a niche-orientated multimedia company providing interactive entertainment, fashion, music and sports content.

Recognizing an opportunity, she launched Kosmic Marketing after identifying a strong demand for freelance marketers to orchestrate high-impact and far-reaching promotional campaigns. Kosmic Marketing’s work on Mark Burnett’s Eco Challenge New Zealand so impressed USA Network executives that Weatherford-Marks was soon offered a full-time position with the network.

She returned to New York in 2001, joining USA as Vice President, Consumer Promotion, Events and Interactive Marketing. After a successful run with USA Network she returned to Kosmic Marketing full-time, investing into the infrastructure and incorporation of the company in New York before assuming her current role with VH1. She continues to serve in the role of President, Kosmic Marketing, Inc.

A native of Indianapolis, Weatherford-Marks holds a Masters of Art in Entertainment Business from New York University’s prestigious Gallatin School and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Telecommunications from Indiana University. She resides in New York City. Wendy Weatherford-Marks and/or Kosmic Marketing have contributed to the success of the following projects:
